2024 Team Tryouts 3-12th Grade
Part one of the tryouts was August 1-3. If you missed it YOU CAN MAKE IT UP!!!
Training Camp & Make-Up Tryouts - Training Camp will be 4 sessions per grade August 5-15 and it $150/player. The NBA runs a two-week training camp to determine their rosters and we will do something similar to determine the final roster decisions. Our training camp will allow them to learn and compete while we observe and get our official rosters set. See the full schedule below.

TRYOUT Q&A
Q: What if I will miss tryouts and/or training camp?
Answer: It is really important that you attend some of the tryouts or training camp if you want to be placed on a team. Otherwise we won’t know how you compare to the other players or what level you are ready to compete at. Please email us at info@clubutahbasketballacademy.org if you have a conflict such as a pre-planned trip so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
Q: What if there aren’t enough players to form a team at training camp?
Answer: If we don’t have enough players to form a full team we will offer you the opportunity to join our skills training classes. We get new players all the time so it won’t be long until you can join a team.
Q: What if my player isn’t invited to training camp?
Answer: We know that getting cut and not making it to training camp can be hard. If this is what happens to your player don’t despair! We want to help you! You will have the opportunity to join our skills training classes and improve your skills to eventually make one of our teams.
Q: How much are club dues?
Answer: The base cost to be on a team is $180/month for an 11-month commitment or $195/month for a 6-month commitment. This will cover the cost of 2 skills training sessions each week, 2 team practices, and online training. If you play for a team that has longer practice then your monthly dues will increase appropriately. League fees and jerseys are a separate charge. We operate on paid coaches and trainers to ensure you get the best bang for your buck!
